The pickup systems Ortofon VinylMaster Silver (formerly Ortofon 540 MK II) are obsolete!
To be able to offer you first-class pickups, we have contacted Clearaudio. We already had good contacts to Clearaudio, who immediately agreed to adapt their systems for the Revox turntables. Thus, we were able to get one of the best system manufacturers in the world into the Revox boat. Last but not least, the high tonal quality of the pickups convinced us.
The foundation is laid by the deep, precise bass, clear and dry and ends in the very finely dissolving heights, crystal clear, always present but never exaggerated or annoying. The mids are very well audible, the voices are in the room, choirs dissolve into individual voices, you can count the voices (if you want). In addition, the gradation of the systems is very well audible. It makes a difference whether you buy a system for 80 €, 300 €, 500 € or even 1000 €! Who knows the Shure V 15 V will love the V2 series.

In order for Clearaudio's systems to fit, the tapped holes must be replaced with simple holes and countersinks made for the screw heads. Only in this way can the systems, as provided by Revox, be mounted from below.

As already described above, slight losses in resolving power have to be accepted.

V2 Master

The crowning glory, the MM cartridge pickup systems that match the Revox turntables, is the Maestro V2. Again, the manufacturer must make adjustments to the attachment.
Anything over there, the turntables from Revox can not be triggered.
But that's damn close to "High-end"!

The assembly takes place according to the specifications of Revox and the cartridge manufacturer Clearaudio.
We use only the original Revox gauge, then align the horizontal and vertical alignment.

These activities should only be carried out by trained specialist personnel. The tonearm, the mechanics are very sensitive!
The technician needs a lot of sensitivity!

Artist V2

Only if everything is set correctly, you achieve the best quality, the perfect listening pleasure!
The /- 1 mm, the Revox sets in height as tolerance, are too high! We recommend max. /- 0.5 mm tolerance. All systems go immediately into the bells, which is noticeable by peak heights!

Turn the turntable upside down and put it on a pile of books on the left. The height of the stack must not exceed 55 mm.Carefully remove the connections with tweezers. Loosen the two screws on the pickup mounting and remove the pickup.
Always work extremely carefully!
