Revox A77

Revox G36

From 1963, my year of birth, the Revox G36 tube tape machine was built and replaced the Revox F36.
For the first time, coils with a diameter of 26.5 cm could be put on and pointer instruments were used for the VU meters. Only with the Revox C270 were the VU meters installed again centrally!

Revox A77

The Revox A77 was manufactured  from 1967-1968 (MKI), 1968-1970 (MKII), 1970-1973 (MKIII) and 1973-1977 (MK IV). The most widely used semi-professional analogue machine has been sold in countless versions 450,000 times!  In 2000, the A77 started the success story of the company revox-online.

Revox B77

From 1977 the Revox B77 entered the heavy inheritance of the A77. With "only" 220,000 copies sold, the B77 is also a success.
Personally, I would have liked a few technical details from the A700. The quartz-controlled speed and a Bandzugregelung would have done the B77 well.

Revox A700

Revox A700

The queen of the tape machines (the diva!).
In 1973, the Revox A700 was introduced with two belt tension scales, quartz control of the sound engine and 3 speeds (9.5 cm / s, 19 cm / s and 38 cm / s). As a special feature, the A700 had a built-in mixer and an equalizer preamp for turntables.
With the A700, the group Novalis 1975 recorded the live concerts.

Revox PR99

Revox PR99

From 1980, the semi-professional PR99 was released based on the Revox B77.
For this purpose, the sound head carrier were made freely accessible, provided the device with symmetrical inputs and outputs and increased the tape tension.

Revox C270 Bandmaschine

Revox C270

In 1988, the C270 came on the market. The big era of tape machines was over.
Although the device was sold under the Revox brand, it was developed by Studer.

Attention! For all C270, C274 and C278 all suppression capacitors should be replaced. In the lying area it can come to total damage!

turntables
Revox B790

Revox B790

If Revox, then right!
So in 1977 Revox were the first who came with a turntable with tangential tonearm on the market.
The controls are accessible even when the cover is closed and the needle is placed pneumatically damped, gently you can scan any record!
Revox B795

Revox B795

In 1979, the Revox B795 was introduced as a cheaper version of the Revox B790. The optics have been adapted to the Revox B7xx series. Saved here on the speed control of a maximum of +/- 9.9%.
All direct drive Revox turntables are quartz controlled.

Revox B791

The turntable Revox B791 was introduced in 1983. Visually, the B791 is similar to the later B291. Only the small IR window of the B291 makes the difference. Compared to the Revox B795, a speed controller with +/- 9.9% is installed here again
The setting is made using the push buttons on the right and left of the display.
Revox B291 Plattenspieler

Revox B291

The turntable Revox B291 was introduced in 1986 and was remotely controllable via the infrared remote control. Visually, the B291 looks like the B791. Electronically, the turntables are completely different, only one printed circuit board, processor-controlled, internal impedance converter. The start position of the different diameters of the circuit boards (single or LP) is approached automatically.

Tuner
Revox B760

Revox B760

The reference tuner in many magazines Revox B760. Why have the variable capacitor tuner from Klein and Hummel been compared to the tuner B760? Maybe you were just scared of the Revox A76 :-)
Revox A76 FM Tuner UKW

Revox A76

Revox has earned a legendary reputation not only with the tape machines. The tuners were all together with top class. The structure of the PCB, the grouping, the ladder - a dream!
amplifiers
Revox A740

Revox A740 / B740

In 1973, Revox brought the pure power amp A740 on the market. The Revox A740 showed the design of the later B700 series (buttons, color, toggle switch, baseboard and side panels).
Revox Vollverstärker A722

Revox A722

With the A700 series Revox presented the power amplifier A722 in the design of the Revox A700 or A720.  The A720 Preceiver as well as the A700 tape machine have controllable preamplifier and switch outputs for remote control of these amplifiers.
Integrated amplifier
Revox A78 Verstärker revox-Online

Revox A78

The amplifier Revox A78 was presented  with the tuner Revox A76 and the tape machine A77. Freshly revised, the amplifier can keep up with modern amplifier. What is missing here; Wi-Fi, NFC and so on!
Timeless, simple elegance!
Revox B750 Vollverstärker revox-Online

Revox B750

The control center. The Revox B750 bursts of performance. As with the A78 and the A720, the sound is adjusted via rotary switches. This increases the channel equality immensely. If you can do without this comfort, press the "DEFEAT" button.
Revox B251 Vollverstärker revox-Online

Revox B251

The Revox B251 amplifier was placed between the Revox B750 and Revox B250. The primary clocked power supply and the heat pipe ... well, the B250 was built as usual! If you have a fetish for transistors, this amplifier is a must-have.
Revox B250 S Vollverstärker revox-Online

Revox B250

The feel of a Revox B750 or Revox A78 is lost! However, the adjustment options are almost limitless! We can optimise the amplifier in many ways and offer an internal transformer, the display and many other spare parts!
Receiver
Revox B780 FM Receiver revox-Online

Revox B780

In 1980, the receiver Revox B780 came on the market.
The device combines a high-quality integrated amplifier with an FM tuner. No compromises were made in terms of sound, reception or operating concept.
Revox B285 FM Receiver revox-online

Revox B285

The successor to the Revox B780 - Revox B285 came on the market in 1984. Self-explanatory as with its predecessor, this receiver is not. For this the device offers adjustment options without end!
Preceiver

Revox A720

In 1973 the A720 was presented. What a beauty.
Revox B739 FM Preceiver revox-online

Revox B739

Without amplifiers, the device does not build so deep and also the accessibility of the connections is considerably better than the big brother Revox B780
Revox B286 FM Preceiver revox-online

Revox B286

Yes, the devices look the same, only one digit 5 -> 6 changes. Inside, only the power amplifiers are missing and the connections have changed. The operating concept is completely identical!
